There are many factors that need to be considered in choosing a research design/approach. Based on the research problem identified in the Week 4 discussion posting:

Problem Statement: Patients who lack diabetes self-management education experience additional challenges because of the lack of knowledge, thus the need to incorporate education during patient treatment to increase better patient outcomes during treatment.

Research Question:What is the effectiveness of incorporating diabetes self-management education among diabetic patients during treatment?
