Mr. K, age 56, is brought to the clinic accompanied by his wife who “wants him checked out”.  He states there is nothing wrong but “sometimes I have to sit down to catch my breath when I’m working outside”.  His last visit to a physician was 10 years ago.  The provider completes the physical assessment and orders several tests (please see attachments for ekg and additional lab reports). Recent labs: Cholesterol 168(goal <200), HDL good cholesterol 46(goal >40), LDL bad cholesterol 86(goal <160) and triglycerides 182(goal <150).
